Role Description:

· We are seeking a skilled Datastage Developer with expertise in designing and implementing ETL processes to generate XML files with complex business rules.

· The ideal candidate will work closely with core banking and credit card systems to extract, transform, and load data while ensuring high-quality XML file generation for downstream systems.

· Key Responsibilities ETL Development Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using IBM Datastage to extract data from core banking and credit card systems.

· Implement complex transformation rules to meet business requirements.XML File Generation Create and validate XML files based on predefined schemas (XSD).

· Ensure the XML output adheres to industry standards and client specifications.

· Data Integration Collaborate with business analysts and system architects to understand data requirements.

· Integrate data from multiple sources, including relational databases, flat files, and APIs.

· Performance Optimization Optimize ETL jobs for performance and scalability.

· Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and timeliness.

· Testing and Validation Develop test cases and perform unit testing for ETL processes and XML outputs.

· Validate data transformations and XML structures against business rules.

Essential Skills:

· Technical Expertise Proficiency in IBM Datastage Strong knowledge of XML, XSD, and XPath.

· Experience with SQL and relational database systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, DB2).

· Domain Knowledge Familiarity with core banking and credit card systems.

· Understanding of financial data structures and compliance requirements.

· 6+ years of hands-on experience in Datastage and Shell scripting.
