Job description

We’re looking for an engineer who can automate database operations, build internal tools, and improve the developer experience across multiple data platforms. Responsibilities * Build Python-based automation and tooling for database provisioning and deployments. * Develop monitoring and management capabilities for various database technologies. * Create self-service solutions that simplify work for application teams. * Automate operational tasks such as failovers and capacity management. * Participate in an on-call rotation and help keep the platform reliable. Requirements * Strong Python skills. * Experience administering SQL Server or PostgreSQL. * Knowledge of at least two additional technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Redis, ClickHouse). * 5+ years working with databases in production. * Platform and automation mindset; customer-oriented approach. * Collaborative, proactive, and eager to learn. Nice to Have * Experience with internal platform or developer tooling. * Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, or observability tools. * Exposure to data pipelines or high-pressure environments.
