Senior Database Administrator

Role Overview: As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of our MySQL or PostgreSQL database systems. This includes installation, configuration, performance tuning, security implementation, backup and recovery, and proactive monitoring. You will ensure the reliability, availability, and security of our database infrastructure, supporting our internal operations and client projects. Job Responsibilities Installation and configuration of database software; Performance tuning for optimal query execution; Security implementation to prevent unauthorized access; Backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity; Proactive monitoring to identify potential issues before they impact system performance. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to database systems, as well as collaborating with other teams to develop and implement database solutions that meet business requirements. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; 5+ years of experience in Database Administration; Strong understanding of MySQL or PostgreSQL database management systems; Experience with database performance tuning, security implementation, and backup/recovery procedures; Familiarity with operating system platforms such as Windows or Linux; Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently; Strong communication and collaboration skills.
