Senior Data Scientist

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our growing team. As a Senior Data Scientist at N26, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven solutions to solve complex business problems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and business stakeholders, to identify opportunities for data analysis and build predictive models, recommendation systems, and other data-driven applications. What you will do: * Develop and implement machine learning models, algorithms, and statistical analyses to solve business problems. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define data-driven solutions. * Build and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure to support data analysis and model deployment. * Conduct exploratory data analysis and data visualization to communicate insights and findings. * Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in data science and machine learning. * Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the team's knowledge sharing. * Work on fraud detection, credit risk assessment, customer segmentation, personalization, and other related areas. What you need to be successful: * Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. * 5+ years of experience in data science or a related field. * Strong programming skills in Python or R. * Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch. * Experience with data manipulation and analysis using tools like SQL, Spark, or Hadoop. * Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Experience in the FinTech industry is a plus.
