Senior Data Scientist (m/f/d) – Focus Business Analytics

We are looking for you immediately at one of our German locations in Munich, Nuremberg, Leipzig, Berlin, Essen, or Frankfurt am Main!

• You purposefully design and lead challenging Data Science projects with a clear business focus in an interdisciplinary team
• You routinely recognize the needs of your clients
• You conceptualize and develop effective, data-driven solutions and accompany their commissioning
• You extract the relevant and crucial data from your clients' datasets
• You develop innovative solutions using modern methods from the fields of Statistics, Machine Learning, Mathematical Optimization, and Visual Analytics
• You successfully communicate your results and insights to your clients
• You accompany the comprehensive implementation of your idea together with the Data Engineering Team
• As a subject matter expert, you regularly participate in client meetings and occasionally in external events

Data is also in your DNA? You should bring this with you:

• Completed studies in Business Informatics, Business Mathematics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a comparable degree program with a strong quantitative focus
• At least 3 years of full-time professional experience in Data Science and AI Engineering, ideally in consulting, IT services, or other customer-oriented roles
• Demonstrable successes in Business Analytics, particularly in the conception, development, and operation of Data Use Cases
• Very good analytical and conceptual thinking skills, a strong understanding of data modeling and analysis, and knowledge of software development
• Expertise in common analytics toolboxes, especially the programming language Python (and relevant libraries), visualization solutions (like Tableau/PowerBI), as well as databases and Big Data technologies
• Industry-specific knowledge for Retail and Consumer is an advantage
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, DBX) and data platforms (Snowflake, MS Fabric, DBX)
• You enjoy project-based work, are customer-oriented, and possess strong communication and presentation skills
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken, are required
