We are looking for you immediately at one of our German locations in Munich, Nuremberg, Leipzig, Berlin, Essen or Frankfurt am Main!


Your Responsibilities

Data and AI are your home? Furthermore, your new challenge looks like this:

  • You are responsible for the conception, development, and implementation of modern Data Science, Machine Learning, and Generative AI solutions for clients from the chemical, process, and manufacturing industries
  • You develop scalable Machine Learning and AI applications - from time series analysis, anomaly detection, and optimization methods to LLM, RAG, and Agentic AI architectures
  • Together with our chemical and process experts, you analyze complex production processes and translate business questions into robust, production-ready AI solutions
  • You are responsible for the deployment, operation, and continuous further development of the solutions on modern cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) as well as Databricks and establish MLOps and LLMOps standards
  • You work interdisciplinarily with Data Scientists, AI Engineers, Data Engineers, and subject matter experts and accompany our clients throughout the entire project lifecycle
  • As a technical point of contact, you present results to the client, support architectural decisions, and develop reusable frameworks, assets, and best practices for our industrial projects


Your Profile

Data is also in your DNA? This is what you should bring:

  • Successfully completed studies (Master's degree at least) in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a comparable engineering or natural science discipline with a connection to the chemical or process industry
  • Several years of full-time professional experience (min. 2 years) as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or AI Engineer, ideally in a consulting or project environment
  • You have a good understanding of chemical, pharmaceutical, or production processes, for example through your studies, previous professional positions, or industrial projects, and can translate business questions into data-driven solutions
  • In-depth experience in developing production-ready Data Science and Machine Learning solutions - e.g., in the areas of Machine Learning, time series analysis, anomaly detection, statistical modeling, or mathematical optimization
  • Alternatively, or additionally, you bring practical experience in Generative AI and Agentic AI - e.g., with LLMs, RAG architectures, Agentic Frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, or AutoGen), Prompt Engineering, as well as the evaluation and optimization of productive AI systems
  • Very good knowledge of Python as well as experience with modern software engineering practices, APIs, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and ideally MLOps or LLMOps
  • Practical experience with at least one common cloud platform (Azure or AWS) and ideally with Databricks
  • You convince with strong analytical skills, a structured and pragmatic way of working, and the joy of independently solving complex customer requirements in a team
  • Strong communication skills and very good German and English language skills enable you to work confidently with clients and interdisciplinary project teams
  • Willingness to travel as part of a consulting activity
