Senior Data Scientist – Genomics / Bioinformatics (AI/ML)

Work Schedule Standard (Mon-Fri) Environmental Conditions Office About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Bioinformatics Computational Scientist to transform how assays are designed and developed for oncology, infectious disease, and beyond. Your work will accelerate the discovery and development of assays that advance basic research, drug discovery, diagnostics, and plant/animal health globally. By merging computational biology, automation, modern data engineering, and artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) to drive innovation in genomics and bioinformatics, you will be at the forefront of revolutionizing how we understand and interact with biological systems. Your expertise will enable the development of novel assays that can detect biomarkers for disease diagnosis, monitor treatment efficacy, and predict patient outcomes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, computational biologists, software engineers, and clinicians to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge bioinformatics tools and pipelines. This role requires a strong understanding of genomics, bioinformatics, AI/ML, and programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
