Currently, at dmTECH, we are looking for a candidate for the position of Senior Data Engineer with German or English – Data Engineering/Science (B2B). Project: Within the dm group, our team, equipped with advanced technological knowledge, actively shapes the data architecture for logistics. As an interdisciplinary team of Data Engineers and Data Scientists, we are responsible for data pipelines, infrastructure, and tools that support our business units in making informed, data-driven strategic decisions regarding logistics network optimization. Data is the DNA of our organization – we consistently transfer this conviction to the entire dm group. Tech Stack: Snowflake, SQL, Python, Airflow. Collaboration Location: Hybrid (Wrocław) or 100% remote collaboration. Collaboration Form: B2B Contract. Remuneration: 140 - 180 PLN/h + VAT on B2B. What will our collaboration entail? Responsibility for operational activities and further development in the area of data pipelines and infrastructure for our Data Engineering and Data Science projects in logistics – preferably based on Snowflake. Designing solutions with reusability in mind – up to Self-Service templates for less technically advanced teams – and supporting the early integration of new technologies into our technology stack. Close collaboration with our Data Science experts and other stakeholders, designing reliable data pipelines and CI/CD flows, and supporting their implementation in production. Designing and implementing Infrastructure-as-Code and utilizing automated deployment pipelines – considering technological and strategic perspectives. Collaboration with a cross-functional team, including proactive support for the further development of our documentation and programming standards. Required experience and qualifications: Fluent knowledge of German or English (min. level B2/C1) and Polish (level C1). Many years of experience working with data pipelines and cloud data warehouses (preferably Snowflake), including SQL, data modeling, and access permissions concepts. Deep understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD (preferably experience with OpenTofu/Terraform and GitLab CI/CD). Practical experience in Data Engineering, preferably with Python, Snowflake, Airflow, and automated deployment pipelines. Ideally, experience in operating data products (monitoring and alerting, automated dependency management, e.g., with Renovate). Openness to innovation, proactivity, high personal responsibility, and strong collaboration and communication skills. Completed studies in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or natural sciences. What do we offer you?
