Senior Data Engineer

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Data Scientist, or Data/BI Analyst.
• Strong SQL skills and a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Iceberg, BigQuery, Redshift), including data modeling and query optimization.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), especially cloud-native data warehouses.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation tasks.
• Practical experience with Airflow for workflow orchestration.
• Experience with dbt for managing data quality and transformations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including ML and AI engineers, as well as business stakeholders.
• English: Upper-Intermediate level or higher.

• Experience with Kafka, Flink, or other streaming technologies for real-time data pipelines.
• Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Superset).
• Knowledge of analytical design patterns and data visualization best practices.
• Understanding of basic ML models (e.g., Random Forest, XGBoost) to create simple models on top of your data.
• Knowledge of data governance principles and security frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines in data engineering contexts.
• Decent web development skills to showcase and integrate your work.

• Lead Data and Analytics initiatives for internal Data solutions, from conceptualization to deployment.
• Contribute to pre-sale activities by understanding client needs and designing data collection and transfer strategies for centralized storage.
• Develop and maintain scalable data models and transformations within data warehouses to support analytics and reporting.
• Design, build, and manage reliable and efficient data pipelines.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows, ensuring data quality, integrity, and consistency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights through advanced analytics and visualizations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Data Engineering, Advanced Analytics, and cloud technologies.
