You will prove yourself in this role, if: You have at least 5 years of experience working with Scala and Apache Spark, You are familiar with the Big Data ecosystem (Hadoop stack), including e.g. YARN, EMR, Sqoop, Hive, You have experience working with Kafka (at a basic level), You have worked with Impala, You are familiar with tools Jenkins, JIRA, Bitbucket, and Git, You have experience building scalable solutions for processing large data sets, You can work in an environment of cross-functional teams.
