Tasks

• Conceptualization and participation in the migration of the Data Warehouse to a future-oriented cloud infrastructure (Databricks)
• Sole responsibility for analyzing, simplifying, and automating business processes in close coordination with the departments
• Ongoing optimization of the DWH architecture and data structure as well as elaboration of strategic target images
• Integration of new data sources and programming of ETL processes
• Expert exchange within the team for knowledge transfer and cloud technologies
• Responsibility for data-driven conception up to implementation

Qualification

• SUCCESSFUL completion of a degree, e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics or Economics, or relevant work experience
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the DWH/Data Engineering field, ideally with several years of experience with cloud-based platforms like Databricks or similar solutions
• In-depth programming knowledge in Python and SQL
• Practical experience with Spark, Delta Lake or similar Big-Data technologies
• High self-initiative, conceptual strength, and willingness to take responsibility
• Very good German language skills in writing and speaking
