Senior Data Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our client's team on a 6-month contract, hybrid working with a possibility of extension.

Purpose:
To analyse banking data across multiple systems and support business intelligence within the BaaS ecosystem, ensuring accuracy, compliance and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and interpret transactional and operational data from multiple banking and API-driven sources.
• Design and maintain dashboards (Power BI, Tableau) for product performance and customer insights.
• Monitor BaaS platform metrics such as API usage, financial transactions, and customer behavior.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy and regulatory standards (e.g., POPIA, GDPR).
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to optimize BaaS data strategies.

Skills, Knowledge and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, or Computer Science.
• Strong SQL and data visualization experience (Power BI, Tableau).
• Knowledge of cloud-based data tools (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Understanding of financial services data, APIs, and digital banking models.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience in Python, SSIS, SQL, GraphQL.
• AWS working knowledge a must (Must have experience on AWS + AWS certification for access to systems).
