Senior Data Analyst Backend E-commerce (f/m/d)
Our Backend E-commerce team is looking for a Data Analyst (f/m/d) based in Lille.
TEAM PRESENTATION
Join a dynamic team of 15 enthusiasts (developers, product owners, data engineers) at the heart of Decathlon's digital strategy. Our goal: to ensure the robustness and efficiency of the data flows that power our global e-commerce platform. Your impact will be direct on the experience of millions of athletes, with the challenge of combining technical performance and responsible innovation.
YOUR FUTURE CONTRIBUTION
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be the bridge between raw backend data and strategic decisions. Your missions will revolve around 4 pillars:
Data Analysis and Interpretation
- Design and implement analyses to extract useful insights (sales, trends, behaviors).
- Use statistical methods (descriptive analysis, PCA, clustering) to solve complex business problems.
- Translate the needs of business teams (Business, Marketing, Product) into concrete analytical problems.
- Be able to challenge irrelevant business requests, and prioritize.
- Assist in the development of customer segmentation tools and scoring models.
Preparation and Modeling
- Participate in the cleaning, exploration, and preparation of datasets and their quality assurance.
- Create and maintain data processing pipelines.
- Contribute to the development, testing, and evaluation of AI models.
Visualization and Communication
- Present results clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.
- Choose the right level of detail to answer a question with appropriate support.
- Create Dashboards and AI agents for monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Automate the sending of analyses and enable self-service data access through our semantic layer.
Collaboration and Innovation
- Work in an Agile environment with modern tools (Git).
- Share technical best practices within the team.
- Stay abreast of new trends in data analysis through technological watch.
- Minimize technical debt by anticipating future needs.
- Maintain clear documentation of your work to facilitate knowledge transfer to a peer.
