Job description
Our E-commerce Data Analytics team is looking for a Senior Data Analyst - E-commerce Mobile Application (f/m/d) on a permanent contract based in Paris or Lille.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The E-commerce Data Analytics team (around 10 people) supports Decathlon's e-commerce challenges internationally. Our mission is to democratize data-driven decision-making to make our digital products ever more performant, fluid, and user-centered. Within the Mobile Application scope, you will work in close proximity with multidisciplinary Product teams to showcase our solutions and maximize the visibility and performance of our offerings worldwide.
YOUR FUTURE CONTRIBUTION
As a Senior Data Analyst (f/m/d) for the E-commerce Mobile Application scope, your role will be to provide strategic analytical vision to optimize the entire mobile application conversion funnel, from installation to order placement, through to post-purchase and omnichannel features.
Your main responsibilities:
- 360° Product Team Support: Be the key partner for Product Managers throughout Product lifecycles (Discovery phases, KPI definition, A/B test monitoring, and impact measurement during Rollout). Provide data-driven insights to guide the Product roadmap, help teams prioritize initiatives, and measure the value of implemented actions.
- Production of Actionable Insights: Conduct proactive exploratory studies to identify growth opportunities, optimize the in-app user experience, and feed the mobile application's overall strategy in close collaboration with the Group Product Manager.
- Team Support: Share insights and provide training on tools (Amplitude, Adjust) to support global and local teams in monitoring mobile App performance.
- Understanding of Tracking, App Tech & Privacy: Define specific tagging needs for iOS/Android environments with the Tracking teams, while ensuring strict compliance with regulations. Communicate fluently on technical issues.
WHAT YOU BRING
- E-commerce & Mobile Application Expertise: Solid knowledge of e-commerce in a retail environment and proven experience with key metrics and challenges of a mobile App environment (iOS/Android).
- Mastery of A/B Testing, Tracking & Privacy: Experience in defining and analyzing A/B tests, designing tagging plans, and considering data privacy constraints.
- Advanced Data Skills: Expert mastery of SQL and practical experience with Cloud/Big Data environments like Databricks to process and cross-reference large volumes of data.
- Curious Profile & Continuous Learning: High intellectual curiosity, active monitoring of mobile usage trends, and an appetite for experimenting with new analytical methodologies.
- Product Development & Optimization: Proven ability to measure the incremental value of Product evolutions and provide strategic recommendations to optimize the customer experience.
- Communication & English Proficiency: Excellent ability to simplify data, perform data storytelling, and interact fluently in professional English (oral and written) within an international and collaborative environment.
- Team Spirit & Data Impact: Willingness to share knowledge within the collective, participation in building a leading E-commerce Data expertise, and contribution to Decathlon's overall Data strategy.
