Senior Data & AI Project Lead - Focus on Defense (m/f/d)

We are looking for you immediately at one of our German locations in Munich, Nuremberg, Frankfurt am Main, Essen, Leipzig or Berlin!

Your Tasks

Is Data and AI your home? Furthermore, your new challenge will be structured as follows:

• You have successfully led projects in the Defense & Security sector and possess a profound understanding of industry-specific requirements and processes
• You are experienced in acquiring new orders as well as processing tenders, especially in the Defense & Security environment, and actively build customer relationships
• For the projects you have won, you will take on the leadership of data-driven AI/IT integration projects with responsibility for implementation on time, within budget, and to quality standards
• You ensure high customer satisfaction and actively support team leads in business development
• In stakeholder management, you actively steer clients and internal interfaces (including partner management, controlling, team leadership) including expectation management
• You are responsible for planning project roadmaps, sub-projects, budgets, and resources, as well as preparing, conducting, and following up on meetings, workshops, and steering committees, including follow-ups

Your Profile

Is Data also in your DNA? This is what you should bring:

• You are an experienced project manager in data-driven AI / IT integration projects
• You have profound knowledge in the data world, ideally with practical experience in Data Science or Data Engineering
• You master common project methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile with Scrum/Kanban), have successfully applied them in client projects, and ideally have relevant certifications as well as experience with relevant tools
• You have experience working with public clients or military industry projects, as well as with security-relevant requirements (e.g., security clearance, IT security regulations, regulatory frameworks)
• Ideally, you have completed military service with the Bundeswehr in the intermediate or senior service
• Willingness to travel and, if necessary, security clearance (e.g., Ü2/Ü3)
• You present yourself confidently and professionally, communicate persuasively in German and English, and possess strong presentation and moderation skills as well as a structured way of working
• You work independently, results-oriented, and entrepreneurially, convince with commitment, flexibility, and creativity, and remain resilient, solution-oriented, and positive even in challenging client situations
