Senior Data & AI Project Management - Focus Defense (m/f/d)

We are looking for you immediately at one of our German locations in Munich, Nuremberg, Frankfurt am Main, Essen, Leipzig or Berlin!

Your Responsibilities

Data and AI are your home? Furthermore, your new challenge will be as follows:

• You have successfully managed projects in the Defense & Security sector and have a profound understanding of industry-specific requirements and processes
• You are experienced in acquiring new orders as well as processing tenders, especially in the Defense & Security environment, and actively build customer relationships
• For your acquired projects, you will take over the management of data-driven AI/IT integration projects with responsibility for implementation in Time, Budget, and Quality
• You ensure high customer satisfaction and actively support team leads in Business Development
• In stakeholder management, you actively steer customers and internal interfaces (including partner management, controlling, team leadership) including expectation management
• You are responsible for planning project roadmaps, sub-projects, budgets, and resources as well as the preparation, execution, and follow-up of meetings, workshops, and steerings including follow-ups

Your Profile

Data is also in your DNA? This is what you should bring:

• You are an experienced project manager in data-driven AI / IT integration projects
• You have profound knowledge in the data world, ideally with practical experience in Data Science or Data Engineering
• You master common project methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile with Scrum/Kanban), have successfully applied them in customer projects, and ideally have corresponding certifications as well as experience with relevant tools
• You have experience in dealing with public clients or military industry projects as well as with security-relevant requirements (e.g., classified information protection, IT security regulations, regulatory frameworks)
• Ideally, you have completed service in the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) in the mid-level or senior service
• Willingness to travel and possibly undergo security clearance (e.g., Ü2/Ü3)
• You present yourself confidently and professionally, communicate convincingly in German and English, and possess strong presentation and moderation skills as well as a structured way of working
• You work independently, are results-oriented and entrepreneurial, convince with commitment, flexibility and creativity, and remain resilient, solution-oriented, and positive even in challenging customer situations
