We are a team of 50 motivated individuals in Cologne, united by the vision of giving people a better quality of life through sustainable access to high-quality cannabis and shaping this pioneering market sustainably. Aufgaben

We have built a new Data & IT Team – and are now looking for you as a technical core.

You will build our data and tool landscape from scratch: Pipelines on Azure, integrations between ERP, CRM, and external systems, solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform, and productive AI workflows. No legacy, no corporate overhead – you decide which stack fits the problem, and report directly to the Head of IT & Data.

AI is not just a buzzword here: Claude licenses and AI coding tools are part of our standard equipment, and part of your work will be building agents and automations that take over real work in everyday business.

• You build and operate data pipelines on Azure – ingestion, transformation, availability for reporting and internal tools.
• You integrate systems: APIs to ERP, CRM, and external sources – clean, robust, documented.
• You bring Claude/LLM workflows productively into operation – agents, automations, internal AI tools that take over real work.
• You build internal tools and self-service solutions – in code or on the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), depending on what fits the problem.
• You automate manual, recurring tasks – from data flows to reports to operational workflows.
• You take End-to-End ownership: from prototype to production-ready operation – and establish pragmatic standards (documentation, Git, code quality) without overhead.
• You work closely with business analysts, departments, and management together and translate requirements directly into working solutions.

Qualifikation

This is what you should bring:

• Very good Python and SQL skills from several years of practice – skill counts more than job experience.
• Solid Azure experience – you have built productively in Azure (e.g. Functions, Data Factory, Storage, Databricks, Fabric – regardless of the mix).
• AI practice experience – you work actively with LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI etc.) and AI coding tools and have workflows or agents brought productively into operation – or are eager to bring the engineering foundation with.
• Fluent German in writing and speaking (our working language).

Nice but not necessary:

• Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Experience with data modeling in warehouse/lakehouse environments.
• DevOps basics (CI/CD, IaC) and experience with integrations between systems that were not made for each other.
• Experience from a scale-up, mid-sized company or small team – you are used to working broadly and taking ownership.
