Senior Data- & AI-Engineer (m/w/d)

Aufgaben

• Analyse and elaboration of concrete use cases for our customers to utilize data- and KI-based IT solutions
• Development of practically implementable solution concepts – technically, professionally, and architecturally
• Development of PoC-, MVP-, and production-ready applications on cloud- and on-premise stacks
• Use of modern LLM technologies: Embedding, Re-Ranking, Prompting, Fine-Tuning, Retrieval concepts, and other methods, as long as they increase customer value
• Tight cooperation with our architects, advisors, and customers to integrate the solutions into existing system landscapes
• Participation in the further development of our product lines (QI-Box, QI-Flow) and our standardized implementation process

Qualifikation

• At least 5 years of professional experience in AI/Data Science/Machine Learning/Data Engineering
• Very good knowledge of Python as well as common ML/DL frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn)
• Fundamental experience with LLMs, RAG systems, embeddings, and evaluation methods
• Safe handling of relational databases, SQL, and vector databases
• Experience in building robust data pipelines and basic knowledge in MLOps
• Work with structured data (e.g., time series) and unstructured data (texts, PDFs, documents)
• Experience with cloud- or on-premise environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Understanding of containerized deployments, API design, and integrations
• Structured and independent working style
• Precise communication, team ability, and joy in interdisciplinary cooperation
• Ability to explain complex technical issues to customers in a comprehensible manner
