Position: Senior Cybersecurity Consultant & Project Manager

Location: Italy

Modality: Full Remote


Role Description

For the Security Delivery team, part of the Security by Design & Delivery department within the CISO Area, we are looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant & Project Manager.

The candidate will have a central role in the management and delivery of Cybersecurity project initiatives, operating in complex and international contexts and interacting with technical stakeholders, management, CISO structures, CTOs, Business, Competence Centers, Shared Services, and external vendors.

The position requires solid experience in end-to-end Cybersecurity project management, combined with a smart, pragmatic, and results-oriented approach, with strong ownership of assigned initiatives.



Responsibilities:

  • Verify the project budget coverage, ensuring the correct management of PRs and POs and the coordination of vendor offers.
  • Define, produce, and maintain project plans, identifying milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and related mitigation actions.
  • Oversee project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, costs, scope, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate the implementation and configuration activities of security solutions.
  • Manage the infrastructural engagements necessary for setting up the infrastructure to support implementations, ensuring correct coordination and reporting to the CTO area's Infrastructure team.
  • Engage and coordinate the Competence Centers and Shared Services of the CISO Area, including, but not limited to:
  • Identity & Privileged Access Management;
  • Cyber Security Governance;
  • Cyber Security Testing;
  • other specialized security functions.
  • Prepare executive reporting for CISO, CIO, and other stakeholders, including executive summaries, progress status, milestones, risks, critical issues, decisions, action plans, and technical KPIs.
  • Coordinate the Security area's response to RFPs and RFQs, organizing team activities and ensuring adherence to the planned milestones.
  • Ensure coordination with the Secure Design team, verifying the production of the Secure Design, technical response, and cost estimates within the timelines required by the RFP/RFQ.
  • Perform pre-go-live checks, supporting the involved teams and ensuring oversight of activities until the solutions go live.
  • Lead and coordinate project and SAL meetings, ensuring the production of structured, clear Minutes of Meeting complete with action points, owners, and deadlines.
  • Proactively manage any deviations from security standards, evaluating their impact and defining appropriate corrective and mitigating actions.


Requirements:


  • Significant and proven experience of at least 4 years in end-to-end Cybersecurity project management, preferably in diverse areas such as:

Network Security;

Data Security;

Cloud Security;

Identity & Privileged Access Management;

Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies.

  • Solid Project Management experience in complex environments characterized by high organizational and technological complexity.
  • Rigorous methodological approach to project management, with the ability to:
  • plan and structure activities;
  • monitor progress and milestones;
  • manage risks, issues, and dependencies;
  • oversee project changes and deviations.
  • Ability to coordinate all delivery phases, from security aspects implementation to pre-go-live checks and go-live.
  • Experience in cross-team and cross-functional work, coordinating internal structures, Competence Centers, Shared Services, and external vendors.
  • Ability to evaluate deviations from security standards, analyzing their impact and defining remediation and mitigation strategies.
  • Concrete familiarity with on-premise and cloud IT systems and infrastructure architectures, with a good understanding of the main components, processes, and dynamics of the IT ecosystem.
  • Solid knowledge of Cybersecurity principles and dynamics, sufficient to interact effectively and authoritatively with:
  • Business;
  • CTO area;
  • CISO Area security functions;
  • Local CISO;
  • Regional CISO.
  • Ability to produce structured and executive reporting related to progress status, risks, critical issues, decisions, and action plans.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, written and spoken, considering the international professional context.


Nice to Have:

Strongly preferred:

  • PMP certification.
  • ITIL certification, preferably at a level higher than Foundation.
  • Familiarity with CISO Group operating models.
  • Experience in multi-country and multi-entity delivery contexts.
