Senior Cyber Security Analyst | Full remote

Intertek, a leading international provider of ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection, and Certification) services, is looking for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join Intertek IT Security team. This is an interesting and varied role, and a great opportunity to become a subject matter expert in the endpoint security area. You will also act as a deputy of the Hub manager, supervising the Hub activities in the absence of the Hub manager. This role will be responsible for providing technical security expertise in relation to cyber security threats. You will provide advice and guidance, and will actively work to resolve and mitigate identified vulnerabilities. What you’ll do: * Monitor, analyse and respond to security events, escalating as appropriate. * Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests. * Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of security systems. * Maintain and update security documentation. * Identify and implement security improvements. * Provide security training and awareness to employees. * Research and stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies. * Participate in security incident response activities. * Assist with security audits and compliance efforts. * Provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members. * Act as deputy of the Hub manager. What we’re looking for: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. * Proven experience in a cyber security role. * Strong understanding of security principles and practices. * Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools. * Experience with security incident response. * Knowledge of security frameworks and standards. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH). * Experience with endpoint security solutions.
