Senior Customs Controller

Hire Resolve's client is seeking a Senior Customs Controller to oversee all activities related to SARS Customs, Transnet, and other relevant government agencies. The successful candidate will ensure that customs protocols are followed and compliant with regulations. This role requires managing all documentation, tariff classifications, and customs-related processes to ensure efficient and accurate import/export operations. Top Responsibilities: Customs & Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to customs regulations and compliance with SARS Customs, Transnet, and other relevant government agencies; Manage all documentation, including customs declarations, invoices, and certificates of origin; Conduct tariff classifications and ensure accurate application of tariffs; Oversee customs-related processes, including clearance, inspection, and valuation; Develop and implement procedures for efficient and accurate import/export operations.
