Senior CSA Engineer (m/f/d)

Vulcan Energie Ressourcen GmbH is an innovative, fast-growing company in the field of sustainable lithium extraction and renewable energies.
For our dynamic and creative CSA Team at our Karlsruhe location, we are looking for you, full-time (40 h), as a Senior Civil Engineer (m/f/d) for a fixed-term employment.
What awaits you with us
- You will take a leading role in defining, implementing, and monitoring CSA planning requirements for projects and will support the coordination of internal teams and external engineering partners.
- You will ensure technical excellence and the application of best practices in the implementation of project results.
- Furthermore, you will support the approval of technical solutions, including standards and deviations from standards, and ensure that internal results and those produced by contractors comply with CSA and industry standards, company policies, and project specifications.
- You will regularly collaborate with cross-functional departments, external suppliers, contractors, and other project stakeholders. In doing so, you will ensure the seamless integration of CSA engineering components and promote a coordinated approach.
- You will support project procurement, including obtaining quotes, tenders, bidder discussions, contract awards, and invoice checks.
- You will adhere to the highest safety standards. During the planning phases, you will support balanced quality decisions that take into account the agile requirements of a start-up environment.
- You will regularly report on project status to the Lead CSA Engineer and Delivery Management. Furthermore, you will ensure complete documentation of all engineering activities for audits, scalability, and knowledge transfer.
What you should bring
- You hold a Master's degree or a diploma as Dipl.-Ing. or Dipl.-Ing. (FH) in Civil Engineering from a recognized international university, ideally with a focus on transportation infrastructure, water management, or pipeline construction.
- You have sound professional experience, preferably at a senior level, and possess comprehensive expertise in plant construction, power plant technology, CSA planning, pipeline construction, working with engineering software, as well as in error analysis and the evaluation of project-specific technical requirements. You are also familiar with all service phases from planning through implementation to operation and have in-depth knowledge of HOAI, VOB, DWA, and TRGS.
- You have proven experience in project management and are proficient in using MS Office as well as relevant engineering software solutions, for example, AutoCAD 2D.
- You convince with strong communication skills and successfully collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders. You also have fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
- You are willing to travel regularly within Germany to collaborate with international teams, clients, and project sites.
- You are interested in renewable energies and have the motivation to develop and implement innovative solutions in this future-oriented field.
- You possess strong teamwork skills and are able to foster collaboration, cohesion, and a positive working environment within your team, thus contributing to efficient and successful project implementation.
- You know how to communicate technical content clearly, bridging the gap between technical expertise and its practical application. You communicate clearly and purposefully with team members, stakeholders, and clients, both orally and in writing.
- You are characterized by a high degree of adaptability and react quickly, competently, and solution-oriented even in changing conditions or new challenges.
