Senior Cost Analyst

Job Description What Your Impact Will Be Record, analyze, and report inventory, considering all variables and components used. Review import costs associated with received inventory. Analyze variances against the company’s standard costs. Calculate the standard cost at the beginning of each year. Support and oversee physical inventory counts (wall-to-wall) and manage inventory adjustments. Analyze and account for the financial impact of inventory obsolescence. Manage reconciliation of both internal and external inventory records. Develop and maintain accurate and detailed reports on inventory levels, movements, and valuations. Provide expert-level support to management in making informed decisions regarding inventory management strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings. Identify and address any discrepancies or anomalies in the inventory system. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory management. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s inventory management processes, systems, and tools.
