Senior Core Developer (Rust / C++) Real-Time & Distributed Systems (m/w/d)

For an innovative development project in the field of Real-Time Control & Distributed Systems, we are looking for experienced Core Developers with a strong Rust/C++ background.

Tasks
- Development and optimization of high-performance core components for distributed real-time systems
- Design and implementation of robust communication and backend architectures
- Development of low-latency and multithreading applications in Rust and C++
- Integration and connection of complex sensor and control systems
- Analysis and optimization of performance, scalability, and system stability
- Participation in architectural decisions, code reviews, and technical concepts
- Closely working with interdisciplinary engineering teams
Qualification
- Multiple years of experience (5+ years) in software development with a focus on system-related or high-performance applications
- Very good knowledge of Rust and/or modern C++
- Experience with real-time, multithreading, or distributed systems
- Good Linux knowledge
- Experience with network protocols and high-performance data processing
- Understanding of system architectures, performance optimization, and resource management
- Structured and self-responsible working style
- Nice to have:
Experience in robotics, sensorics, or autonomous systems environments - Knowledge in embedded systems or RTOS
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or scalable platforms
- Experience with ROS2 or comparable frameworks
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or safety-critical projects
