Job description

Develop and conduct A/B tests that directly impact the subscription growth of one of the largest EdTech platforms in the German-speaking region – 1M+ users, real experiments, measurable results.

We are looking for a

(Senior) Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist (gn) for our Product Growth Team to drive one of sofatutor's most important goals: making more parents customers who trust us to accompany their children on their learning journey. In this role, your work will have a direct and measurable impact on the company's success. By designing and conducting strategic A/B tests, you will help increase acquisition, activation, and retention of users through our subscription-based learning products. You will work closely with designers, developers, data analysts, and senior leadership to identify growth opportunities with high potential and turn insights into real results.

📍 100 % remote (EMEA) | ⏳ 32-40 h/Week

Your Responsibilities:

• Define and implement growth experiments across the entire funnel – from hypothesis to introduction and evaluation.
• Maintain a clear pipeline of experiments, based on effectiveness, effort, and learning value.
• Work closely with Design, Development, and relevant stakeholders together to translate testing concepts into high-quality experiments.
• Nutze Analytics, User Research, Competitor Analysis, and Best Practices to identify opportunities and derive strong hypotheses.
• Share results, insights, and learnings from experiments transparently with the team and stakeholders, promoting alignment and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:

At least 2-4+ years of experience in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), website optimization, or growth-oriented roles.

• Nachweisliche Erfolge beim Design and the implementation of experiments, which have led to measurable business results (e.g., higher conversion rates, more revenue).
• Erfahrung in High-Velocity-Testing Environments as well as the ambition to continuously increase experiment speed without sacrificing quality or learning value.
• Very good analytical skills and practical experience in interpreting quantitative data with tools like GA4, Amplitude, or Power BI.
• Strong conceptual thinking, with the ability to structure and prioritize experiments along strategic growth goals.
• Very good communication skills in English, to convey insights and strategies clearly to stakeholders across functions and seniority levels.
• Erfahrung mit A/B-Testing Tools (e.g., Convert), as well as ideally with additional Research/UX tools like Hotjar.
• Very good English skills (written and spoken).
• Desirable (not required): Very good German skills, to better understand customer needs in the DACH market.
