Our client is the Rameder Group, Europe's market leader for towbars and transport solutions with over 25 years of success. Around 500 employees, 256 of whom are in Germany, operate country shops in France, Czech Republic, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Switzerland. The mission: To enable an active outdoor lifestyle – with high-quality products and services.
The environment is fast-paced, performance-oriented, and strongly implementation-driven. No endless strategy rounds without results, but people who take responsibility and drive things forward. Controlling at the headquarters in Leutenberg is currently being rebuilt – and a Senior Controller is now sought to combine financial planning, BI systems, and international coordination.

Responsibilities

• Close collaboration with business unit leaders and department heads – identify challenges, develop suitable solutions
• Responsibility for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting – you will build the financial world, not just maintain it
• Creation of meaningful financial reports and presentations for management and shareholders or investors
• Support for strategic projects and investment decisions – you advise, not just report
• Conducting variance analyses and profitability calculations – translate data into actionable recommendations
• Definition and implementation of KPIs for managing operational business and deriving recommendations for action for management
• Support with monthly closing and tasks in cost management and balance sheet analysis
• Participation in the implementation and further development of the new data analytics platform (BigQuery and Power BI) – you will shape the digital future of controlling
• Intensive exchange with international country organizations – e.g., France, Sweden, Switzerland

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Senior Controller, Business Controller, or in a comparable role – at least 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in controlling / FP&A
• You have significantly shaped at least one company over a period of 2+ years, professionalizing controlling processes, BI systems, or KPI frameworks
• Completed Bachelor's degree (B.A., B.Sc. or similar) – in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Good understanding of data models and user skills in BI systems – e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Tableau; BigQuery knowledge is a plus
• Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel – Power Query, VBA are advantageous
• Knowledge of financial/ERP systems – ideally SAP and LucaNet
• Proactive & innovative mentality with an interest in further developing controlling systems and processes – you think digitally, not analogously
• Team player with a hands-on mentality and strong assertiveness – interest in digitalization and the use of AI in controlling
• Structured working method, personal responsibility, and strong analytical & conceptual skills
• Very good language skills in German (C1) and English (B2) – you communicate confidently with international colleagues and management
• Driver's license and mobility are advantageous – occasional travel to locations may be required

What won't work here

• Candidates with a purely sales-oriented background without strong controlling depth
• People without BI/ERP tool experience – work is done digitally here, not in Excel lists
• Candidates who wait for ready-made processes instead of building them themselves
• Pure number administrators without a strategic outlook – you advise management, not just report
• Candidates with insufficient German language skills – C1 is mandatory for collaboration at headquarters
• Candidates who primarily want to work remotely – up to 2 days of remote work are possible, but presence in Leutenberg is required
