Aufgaben

As part of an innovative company, we are looking for an experienced Senior Group Controller (m/w/d), who will support us in steering and developing our corporate strategy and accompanying the controlling for the group.

In this responsible position, you will play a key role in steering the netgo group and developing our financial processes. Your tasks include:

• Controlling of the company group: You are responsible for continuous analysis and commentary on the financial development of the company group with a focus on profitability, cash flow, and return on investment. Based on this, you will provide well-founded recommendations to management.
• Planung & Forecasting: You support in preparing annual budgets and mid-term plans and accompany the forecasting process. In doing so, you will work closely with departments and management.
• Reporting and Business Cases: You develop regular reports and business cases that provide precise decision-making bases for management and other stakeholders.
• Beteiligungscontrolling: You analyze and evaluate ongoing business activities and develop measures to optimize company performance.
• Projektarbeit: You accompany and lead cross-sectional projects for process optimization and further development of reporting and controlling systems.
• M&A & Integration: You are involved in M&A processes, accompany financial due diligence, and support integration of acquired companies.
• Datenmanagement: You consolidate large data sets and conduct targeted ad-hoc analyses to provide well-founded recommendations for corporate management.

Qualifikation

• Ausbildung: Completed degree in business administration, economics or a comparable qualification with a focus on controlling, accounting or finance.
• Berufserfahrung: At least 5 years of professional experience in corporate/group controlling. First experience working with private equity-backed companies or in consulting is an advantage but not a requirement.
• Fachkompetenz: In-depth knowledge of financial and balance sheet analysis as well as experience in investment controlling. (Knowledge of M&A projects is a plus point.)
• Analytische Fähigkeiten: You have a strong understanding of numbers, a developed analytical thinking and the ability to quickly grasp complex relationships.
• Kommunikationsstärke: You possess very good communication skills and are able to present your results clearly and understandably to stakeholders (German and English).
• IT-Kompetenz: Very good knowledge of MS Excel, ideally experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) and ERP systems (e.g. SAP S/4HANA, LucaNet).
• Hands-on-Mentalität: You work pragmatically, are solution-oriented and keep your overview even in stressful situations.
