Job description
Want to make a difference?
As a Senior Controller (all genders), you will take on a central role in the financial management of ARMEDANGELS. With your strategic view of numbers, processes, and business models, you will ensure that we can build sustainable growth on a solid financial foundation.
You will be responsible for the further development of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, create transparency about financial performance, and support data-driven decisions throughout the company with well-founded analyses. In doing so, you will combine financial excellence with our commitment to operating responsibly and with a focus on the future.
Who are we?
Since 2007, we at ARMEDANGELS have been proving that fashion can be different: innovative and timeless, produced according to responsible standards for people and the planet. No wage slavery, no harmful chemicals, no cheap mass-produced goods. What started as a simple idea to print T-shirts and collect donations for projects and organizations through sales has grown into a company that is now one of the largest sustainable lifestyle labels in Europe. With a team of 160 people and four collections a year, we at ARMEDANGELS show that responsibility and good product design are not mutually exclusive.
With these tasks, you will contribute to success
Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis
You will steer and further develop our budget, forecast, and financial planning processes, ensuring they align with our growth and company objectives.
You will analyze financial developments, conduct variance analyses, and derive concrete recommendations for action for the business.
Internal Controls & ComplianceYou will develop and strengthen internal control mechanisms, supporting early risk detection and adherence to regulatory and internal standards.
You will assist with annual financial audits according to HGB (German Commercial Code), accompany audits, and coordinate the implementation of necessary measures from a controlling perspective when required.
Financial Reporting & Performance MonitoringYou will be responsible for creating meaningful financial reports – including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet – thereby creating transparency about the company's financial performance.
You will use data and KPIs to identify potential and derive financial steering impulses.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategic SupportYou will work closely with Finance, Operations, IT, and other departments to integrate financial insights into corporate management.
You will prepare decision-making bases for senior leadership and contribute to ensuring that strategic decisions are based on reliable data.
Team Leadership & Continuous ImprovementYou will support and develop colleagues in the Finance and Controlling environment, fostering a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement.
You will drive process optimization and introduce new tools, methods, and best practices to sustainably increase efficiency and quality.
