Senior Consultant - Vendor Engineering

Greetings from enGen Global We are looking for a Senior Consultant - Vendor Engineering based in Chennai . Job Summary: The Senior Vendor Engineering Analyst will be a critical technical contributor within the newly established Vendor Engineering Office (VEO), playing a pivotal role in optimizing organization's technical engagement with its third-party technology vendors. This senior-level individual contributor will leverage deep technical expertise to ensure that external technology partners are properly integrated into our ecosystem, and that their solutions align with our business objectives. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendor partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize vendor partner requirements, and develop strategies for meeting those needs. • Conduct technical assessments of vendor partner solutions to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives. • Provide expert-level technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders on the use and integration of vendor partner solutions. • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of vendor partner offerings, including their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis). • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with vendor partner relationships. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to optimize vendor partner relationships and drive business value. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. • Minimum 8 years of experience in Vendor Engineering, Technical Account Management, or a related field. • Strong technical expertise in one or more areas such as cloud computing, data analytics, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, or DevOps. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders. • Proven track record of successfully managing complex vendor partner relationships. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
