Senior Consultant Supply Chain Performance Improvement (m/w/d)

Typical customer projects

• Inventory optimization and working capital improvement

• Supply Chain network & logistics cost optimization

• Manufacturing performance improvement

• Supply Chain segmentation and service level optimization

Your tasks

• Lead work packages or sub-projects within strategic and operational consulting initiatives

• Analyze supply chain performance, identify effective levers, and develop clear, actionable recommendations

• Develop roadmaps for implementing improvement measures and quantify their impact

• Develop customer-specific optimization approaches that achieve both short-term efficiency gains and sustainable performance improvements

• Prepare solid business cases that evaluate measures transparently based on their effects (EBIT, costs, working capital, revenue)

• Support business development - through expert contributions, proposal preparation, and the development of our methods and assets

• Work closely with customers at all organizational levels, moderate workshops, and present results in a convincing manner

What we're looking for

• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in supply chain management, preferably in management consulting

• Experience in conducting SCM projects and (partial) project responsibility (strategy, operations, and technology; cross-functional with interfaces to procurement, planning, production, logistics, sales, finance)

• Excellent analytical skills, high abstraction ability, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, financial management insights

• Confident appearance at all hierarchical levels

• Energy, teamwork, result orientation, and the willingness to achieve visible impact together

• Travel readiness, including occasional international assignments
