Job description

We are a start-up with experience: GCG Unternehmensberatung stands for 25 years of consulting success – and has been awarded Top Consultant 2026 for it. The renowned quality seal confirms our high consulting quality, excellent customer reviews, and sustainable project successes. With us, profound know-how meets fresh energy and entrepreneurial spirit.

We are looking for people who take responsibility, help shape structures, and have a desire for growth – professionally, personally, and as part of a team. Make complex projects successful – end-to-end.

Do you want to do more than just accompany projects – do you want to make them successful? We manage complex projects comprehensively and ensure the effectiveness of project success. With us, you work at the interface of strategy, organization, and implementation – always with a focus on efficiency, quality, and sustainable results.

Your Role

  • You manage cross-functional projects and programs, ensuring clear structures, transparency, and effective results.
  • You coordinate stakeholders at all levels – from the project team to steering committees.
  • You actively participate in the further development of our PMO and process portfolio.
  • Depending on your interests, you will support topics such as business development, communication, or recruiting.
  • You help shape our internal structures, tools, and ways of working, and contribute your ideas for continuous improvement.

Your Tasks

  • Establish and manage project and program reporting.
  • Plan and manage resources and budgets.
  • Plan and moderate milestone, risk, and quality processes.
  • Establish PMO structures and further develop methods and processes.

What You Bring

  • Completed university degree in Business, Engineering, or IT.
  • Several years of experience in project management, PMO, or in managing complex transformation, organization, or IT projects.
  • Very good knowledge of common project management standards (e.g., PRINCE2, IPMA, PMI) and proficient use of project management tools.
  • Confident stakeholder and interface management – ideally including experience with steering committees.
  • Know-how in risk, resource, and quality management.
  • Structured, forward-looking, and reliable working style with a high degree of quality consciousness.
  • Strong communication and moderation skills at all levels, and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Proactivity, implementation strength, and the motivation to drive change effectively.

What We Offer You

  • Hybrid working (Munich, Karlsruhe, or Remote).
  • 30 days of vacation.
  • Attractive compensation with a bonus model that reflects your performance and responsibility.
  • Clear development paths and the opportunity to actively shape our project management portfolio.
  • Bike leasing, gym membership, and other benefits.
  • A work environment where you can take ownership, shape structures, and make a visible impact.
  • A collegial team that communicates openly, collaborates professionally, and where every opinion counts.
