Senior Consultant (m/f/d) Finance Solutions

Our client is a specialized provider of Business Intelligence, Corporate Planning, and Group Consolidation, and has been supporting companies from medium-sized businesses to international corporations in digitizing their financial processes for many years. The focus is on holistic solutions for reporting, planning, forecasting, and consolidation based on modern BI technologies.
We are looking for a Senior Consultant who combines finance understanding, consulting expertise, and analytical thinking. In this role, you will support clients long-term in optimizing their finance and controlling processes and develop modern BI and planning solutions together with them.

Your tasks as a Senior Consultant

• Consulting and support of clients in the area of Business Intelligence, Corporate Planning, and Group Consolidation

• Analysis of business requirements in collaboration with Finance, Controlling, and Group Accounting

• Development of concepts and solution architectures based on IBM Planning Analytics TM1

• Translation of business requirements into technical solutions and system concepts

• Modeling and implementation of OLAP solutions, reports, dashboards, and planning systems

• Development and optimization of data integrations from ERP, finance, and upstream systems

• Support for customer projects from concept to commissioning

• Conducting workshops, user training, and presentations for clients

• Long-term support and further development of existing customer solutions

• Support with presales activities, solution concepts, and customer presentations

Your profile

• Completed university degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Controlling, or comparable fields

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, Financial Planning, and Group Consolidation

• Sound knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting and controlling processes

• Practical experience in the analysis and optimization of finance and controlling processes

• Strong communication skills and confident demeanor when interacting with clients and business departments

• Analytical and structured way of working with a high degree of personal responsibility

• Interest in data-driven solutions and understanding of BI and planning systems

• Fluent German language skills for optimal customer consulting and team communication

• Occasional willingness to travel for customer appointments and workshops (approx. 1x per month)

• Nice to Have:

• Experience with IBM Planning Analytics TM1
