The Role

As a (Senior) Consultant* - Regulatory Reporting, you will advise our clients on the analysis, conception, and optimization of regulatory reporting processes. You will play a central role in implementing regulatory requirements and work closely with business departments, operations, IT, and management.

 

Your Tasks

  • Advising our clients on the analysis, conception, and optimization of transaction-based regulatory reporting processes (EMIR REFIT, MiFIR/MiFID II, and SFTR).
  • Technical assessment of regulatory changes and derivation of sustainable implementation measures for processes, data architectures, and system landscapes.
  • Creation and coordination of business concepts, requirements, and target processes in close cooperation with business departments, operations, and IT.
  • Support in transformation, implementation, and optimization projects, as well as accompanying the introduction and further development of reporting solutions.
  • Ensuring high data quality through definition and further development of governance, control, and validation processes.

Your Profile

  • Several years of professional experience in transaction-based regulatory reporting in the banking or capital markets sector with in-depth knowledge of EMIR REFIT, MiFIR/MiFID II, and SFTR.
  • Deep understanding of the end-to-end reporting process, including data collection, enrichment, validation, reporting, error handling, and reconciliation.
  • Practical experience with Nasdaq AxiomSL as well as Regnology Abacus Transactions and their functional conception or further development.
  • Experience in regulatory transformation or implementation projects, as well as a strong ability to present complex regulatory issues in an audience-appropriate manner.
  • Experience in defining functional requirements for regulatory reporting solutions.
  • Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken, as well as a high willingness to travel.

  • Knowledge of modern data quality and governance frameworks.
  • Experience in stakeholder management at management and project leadership levels.
  • Consulting experience with international banks or financial service providers.
  • Experience in agile project methodologies and interdisciplinary teams.
