The Role 

As a Senior Consultant* / Manager* – ServiceNow Specialist (GRC / IRM) at Capco, you will support leading banks, asset managers, and insurance companies in the conception, transformation, and implementation of modern risk and compliance processes based on the ServiceNow platform.

You will advise our clients at the interface between business departments and technology, and together with stakeholders from risk management, compliance, and IT, you will develop future-proof process and system landscapes. You will analyze existing governance, risk, and compliance structures, design scalable target architectures, and guide their functional and technical implementation.

You will leverage modern automation approaches and approved AI technologies to make processes more efficient, support informed decision-making, and continuously improve the quality of risk and compliance solutions. You will consider regulatory requirements, traceable control mechanisms, and the necessary human review of AI-supported results.

In interdisciplinary project teams, you will take responsibility for demanding transformation projects and actively contribute to the further development of our ServiceNow GRC/IRM competencies.

Your Responsibilities 

• You will analyze existing governance, risk, and compliance processes and develop customized ServiceNow GRC/IRM solutions for banks, insurance companies, and asset managers – from strategic goal setting to successful implementation.
• You will design scalable workflows, data models, and control mechanisms for Operational Risk, IT Risk, Third-Party Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Controls, and Audit. You will identify potential for AI-supported automation and intelligent process optimization.
• You will conduct workshops and process analyses, evaluate the suitability of existing processes for ServiceNow, and develop well-founded target state visions, business cases, and cost-benefit analyses.
• You will translate functional and regulatory requirements into technical solution concepts and collaborate closely with clients, project managers, architects, and development teams. You will use approved AI tools to support analysis, documentation, and quality assurance and ensure the functional validation of results.
• You will support transformation programs, contribute to client presentations and proposal processes, and promote knowledge sharing within our ServiceNow community. At the Manager level, you will additionally take responsibility for functional topics, client relationships, and the development of team members.

Your Profile 

• You bring several years of practical experience in the implementation, configuration, or further development of ServiceNow solutions with a focus on Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) or Integrated Risk Management (IRM).
• You have in-depth knowledge of Risk Management, IT Risk, Compliance, or Non-Financial Risk and understand the requirements of regulated financial institutions as well as the interdependencies between business processes, controls, and IT systems.
• You have accompanied ServiceNow projects from analysis through conception to implementation and can translate complex functional requirements into scalable digital workflows and technical solution approaches. You are open to the responsible use of AI-supported working methods and automation to improve efficiency and quality.
• You work confidently with stakeholders from business departments, risk management, compliance, information security, and IT. You moderate workshops, conduct interviews, and present results in an audience-appropriate manner. Excellent German and English language skills complete your profile.
• You hold a university degree, for example in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or Computer Science, or a comparable qualification. You work in a structured, solution-oriented manner and take responsibility for your topics and project outcomes.

Nice to have 

• ServiceNow Certifications: You possess certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) for IRM/GRC, or comparable qualifications.
• Regulatory Know-how: You are familiar with relevant regulatory requirements and standards such as DORA, MaRisk, BAIT, VAIT, EBA Guidelines, or international governance and risk management frameworks.
• GRC Platform Knowledge: You have experience with other GRC solutions like RSA Archer or MetricStream and ideally have accompanied platform migrations or transformation projects towards ServiceNow.
• AI and Intelligent Automation: You have knowledge of AI, including Generative AI, Workflow Intelligence, or Process Mining, and understand their application possibilities within ServiceNow. Ideally, you are familiar with principles of responsible AI use, including human approvals, control mechanisms, and traceable results.
• Transformation and Business Development: You have worked in complex transformation programs in the financial services sector, have experience in presales, proposal, or RFP processes, and enjoy supporting the functional development of other team members.
