Your Role

As a Senior Consultant*/ Manager* - Insurance (m/f/d), you will co-create the digital transformation of leading insurance companies with us. You will support our clients in further developing their processes and IT systems and making them future-proof.

You will shape interesting transformation projects from strategy and conception to implementation, combining your insurance expertise with technological developments and new market trends. To do this, you will bring in your professional knowledge, your IT understanding, and your ability to find and design solutions.

For your work, you will use modern and AI-based tools, taking into account ethical and security aspects.

Your Responsibilities

• You will shape the digital and AI transformation of our insurance clients with regard to business models, processes, and IT applications.
• You will accompany projects from strategy through planning to implementation, taking on the role of project/sub-project manager as well as subject matter consultant.
• You will advise clients on requirements analysis and solution design, bringing in your insurance technical expertise, underpinning it with the necessary IT understanding, and conceiving the solutions.
• Together with us, you will develop innovative and practical solutions using suitable and approved AI tools.
• You will participate in project and client acquisition, further develop our consulting portfolio, and thus contribute to the growth of our Insurance Practice.

Your Profile

• You have successfully completed a degree, preferably in Business Administration/Economics, Computer Science/Business Informatics, or a comparable field, and have at least 3 years of professional experience in consulting or in-house consulting for insurance companies.
• You have a good overview of insurance technology and have specialized in one or more topics in policy administration or claims.
• You have a fundamental understanding of an insurer's application landscape and the insurance processes mapped within it.
• You are able to capture, analyze, and question the functional and IT requirements of business and IT departments in order to derive complete and appropriate problem descriptions.
• You possess sufficient IT knowledge for these tasks, e.g., regarding processes in software development up to testing, modeling of data models and workflows.
• You are familiar with current technologies and market trends and have a good understanding of how AI solutions can support business processes.
• You have experience as a project or sub-project manager and take responsibility for the expected results of your team.
• You communicate appropriately for the audience and enjoy presenting your results internally and to client representatives.
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken, as well as practical experience in a German work environment.
• You have gained initial experience in acquiring new clients as part of sales teams and in preparing consulting and project proposals.
