Senior Consultant for Digital Administration Projects - Migration and Interior (all genders)

Do you want to help shape the digital administration of tomorrow – where it is directly tangible for people? As a Senior Consultant (all genders) for digital administration projects in the Migration & Interior department, you will advise our clients on challenging digitalization projects in a socially and politically highly relevant environment. You will penetrate complex technical and organizational issues, develop viable target visions and solution approaches, and bring together expertise, administration, and technology. For you, consulting does not end with the concept: Together with interdisciplinary teams, you will accompany solutions from the initial inquiry to successful implementation.

• You will advise our clients from the public administration on challenging IT and digitalization projects with a special focus on Migration & Interior, as well as topics of Internal Security, and will jointly shape the further development of administrative processes and digital services with our clients, question existing procedures, and prepare technical decisions in a structured manner.
• You will delve deeply into complex technical contexts, analyze technical, organizational, and process-related issues, and from these, develop target visions, options for action, and concrete recommendations.
• You will conceptualize and moderate workshops, interviews, and coordination formats, bring together different perspectives, and guide clients and other stakeholders through decision-making and change processes.
• You will bring together administration, expertise, and technology, structure and prioritize requirements, and translate technical needs into viable digital solutions together with interdisciplinary project and development teams.
• You will accompany the implementation of your concepts into practice – from analysis and requirements gathering, through conception, piloting, and testing, to go-live – always keeping users, acceptance, and the sustainable anchoring of the solutions in mind.

• You have relevant experience in consulting clients in the public sector in the context of IT, digitalization, or transformation projects and have already independently managed consulting tasks or technical work packages.
• You can quickly and thoroughly familiarize yourself with complex technical topics, analyze and structure interrelationships, and derive robust options for action, recommendations, target visions, and concepts from them.
• You have experience in collaborating with external clients and various stakeholders and move confidently in communication at different levels of the client's and project's organization.
• You are not only comfortable with technical consulting but also want to implement your concepts together with interdisciplinary teams and experience their impact in practice.
• You already have practical experience in the Migration & Interior or Internal Security field and are familiar with the technical challenges and framework conditions of this environment.
• Ideally, you have experience with digitalization projects in public administration and/or a technical connection to migration, interior, or internal security. Knowledge of OZG, EfA, FIM, data protection, or IT service management is a plus.
• Ideally, a completed university degree forms the technical foundation for your work.
• You have very good German skills in speaking and writing, as well as good English skills.
