We are seeking thought leaders with profound consulting and technology expertise to address our clients' most challenging technology, strategy and transformation issues from a Data Management and Governance perspective. This involves crafting innovative strategies and technology solutions. If you are passionate about utilizing your experience and previous successes to help clients achieve their data North Star, this could be your opportunity to join the EPAM Data Governance Consulting team in the Netherlands - a part of EPAM's Global Data & Analytics Consulting practice. This position offers a hybrid model, with 2-3 days per week working from the EPAM location office. EPAM is progressively enhancing its Data Governance consulting practice. Our goal is to empower clients to attain superior business results by efficiently governing and managing data as well as implementing modern and innovative technology solutions. In this position, you will solve complex and unique client problems using your expertise in working with a modern data stack. You will ensure data reliability, security, and quality with an agile mindset. Responsibilities * Engage deeply with senior executives to define and execute Enterprise-wide Data Management & Governance Strategy programs and business-cases, often becoming the “trusted advisor” * Lead Data Management & Governance assessments to help clients gradually improve capabilities from current state to the viable state of maturity by creating strategy, roadmaps and implementation plans * Leverage your deep understanding of business and IT capabilities to build technology solutions for Data Management and Governance which help to innovate and create value across the client organization * Provide end-to-end services from strategy ideation and use case elaboration to MVP implementation and further enterprise scaling-out * Lead customer conversations and architectural teams to define modern Data Management architecture and developing practices to manage data through its lifecycle * Support business development efforts, including proposal development, Statements of Work and client presentations * Create consulting offerings and reusable templates Requirements * Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Information Technology or related discipline * Minimum 3 years in a Consulting role leading Data Management & Governance initiatives * Deep practical subject matter expertise in at least 2-3 of the following areas: Data Governance Operating model & Policies, Data Quality, Master Data Management, Metadata Management & Data Cataloging, Data Lineage, Data Compliance * Understanding of data governance frameworks (DAMA, DCAM), methodologies, processes and how to implement them * Practical expertise in conducting maturity assessment and gap analysis and providing strategic roadmap and solution implementation guidelines * Hands-on experience in running customer workshops and other collaboration sessions to discover customer priorities, understand current state and determine maturity/readiness to execute on enterprise Data Management & Governance vision * Extensive practical expertise with modern data stack, agile environments and high-end technologies * Excellent verbal and written command of the English language, to drive client-side discussions and draft concise documentation when required Nice to have * Technology expertise with one or several commercial or open-source tools, e.g., Collibra, Alation, Informatica, Ataccama, Azure Purview, Atlas, Talend, Soda * Understanding of modern concepts as Data Observability, DataOps and Data Mesh We offer We gather like-minded people: * Top tech minds driving innovation in AI, cloud and digital platform modernization * Supportive team and agile, startup-like culture * Hybrid by design mode and opportunity to work remotely within Poland * Chance to work abroad for up to 60 days annually * Business-driven relocation opportunities We provide growth opportunities: * Career development programs * Thought leadership, mentoring, soft skills and well-being programs * Certification (Anthropic, Gemini, GCP, Azure, AWS) * English classes We cover it all: * Stable pay * Participation in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan with a 15% discount * Benefits package (health insurance, multisport, shopping vouchers) * Referral bonuses up to $2,000 * Offices featuring entertainment and relaxation zones, table tennis and football, free snacks, coffee and more * Corporate, social and well-being events Please, note: Benefits listed above are available to employees only We are open for working with Contractors.
