Aufgaben

Our mission is to digitize Germany - and for this, we are constantly looking for experienced Cloud & DevOps Engineers! You will work actively in project teams and support our customers in developing and implementing their secure, scalable, and future-proof cloud strategy.

• Analyzing customer requirements and deriving feasible technical solution approaches
• Conception, setup, and further development of modern cloud- and platform architectures with a focus on Kubernetes in private-cloud contexts as well as at selected public-cloud providers (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, STACKIT, IONOS)
• Architecture and design of scalable, secure, and maintainable system landscapes
• Setup and operation of container platforms based on Kubernetes
• Creation and further development of automations, such as CI/CD pipelines for builds, tests, and release cycles, e.g. with GitLab, ArgoCD, or Azure DevOps
• Conception and implementation of infrastructure as code and configuration management (e.g. Terraform, Ansible)
• Analysis and evaluation of existing architectures and presentation of recommendations for action
• Coaching team members in cloud- and platform-related topics
• Participation in internal ARES projects

Qualifikation

• Degree or training in IT
• Experience in technical consulting
• Mult-year experience in cloud-native technologies and platform engineering, particularly in private-cloud or hybrid environments
• Excellent knowledge of the Kubernetes ecosystem
• Comprehensive experience in conceiving cloud- and platform architectures (IaaS/PaaS)
• Fundamental knowledge of public-cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, STACKIT)
• Experience in DevOps environment
• IT security is your everyday life
• You are self-reliant, customer-oriented, communicative, and work well in a team
• You are motivated to quickly learn new topics and take responsibility
• Travel readiness within Germany (average 3 days/month)
• Very good German and English skills
• Readiness for security clearance (SÜ1 or SÜ2) according to the Security Clearance Act
