Description Hire Resolve's client in Umhlanga, is currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Compliance Legal Counsel to join their team. As a Senior Compliance Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and guidance on compliance matters to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. Your key responsibilities will include conducting compliance risk assessments, developing and implementing compliance programs, and leading internal investigations. You will also be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of compliance efforts and providing training to employees on compliance-related topics. Responsibilities: * Provide legal advice and guidance on compliance matters. * Conduct compliance risk assessments. * Develop and implement compliance programs. * Lead internal investigations. * Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of compliance efforts. * Provide training to employees on compliance-related topics. * Stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations. * Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance. * Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures. * Oversee and manage compliance audits. Requirements: * Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree. * Admitted Attorney. * 5+ years of experience in compliance, legal or regulatory roles. * Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Experience in conducting compliance risk assessments. * Experience in developing and implementing compliance programs. * Experience in leading internal investigations.
