As a Senior Communications Advisor with the County of Grande Prairie, you'll work with employees, community members, stakeholders and elected officials to build and implement strategic communications plans using a variety of creative tools. As a Senior Communications Advisor on our team of eight communications and marketing professionals, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives. This includes creating and disseminating internal and external communications materials, such as newsletters, reports, and social media content. You will also work closely with other departments to develop and implement effective communication plans that support organizational initiatives and projects. In addition, you will provide guidance and support to employees on communication-related matters, including crisis communication planning and response. Your expertise in creative storytelling, messaging, and audience engagement will be essential in developing compelling communications materials that resonate with our diverse audiences.
