Job Description Summary GE Vernova's Software & Control Solutions (SCS) business line focuses on advanced control systems and digital solutions for the Power Generation, Oil & Gas, and Industrial segments. SCS integrates cutting-edge control systems (Mark VIe, HMI, Cyber, Generator, Advanced Software, DCS), global engineering support, comprehensive lifecycle programs, and hands-on training—empowering power plants and grid operators to run safer, smarter, and more reliably across the globe. The Senior Commercial Risk Manager APAC will be responsible for managing commercial risk exposure in the Asia-Pacific region, working closely with regional business leaders, finance teams, and other stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of the energy industry's commercial landscape. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and maintaining comprehensive risk assessments for APAC operations, including identifying and prioritizing potential risks. • Collaborating with regional business leaders to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies. • Providing risk management guidance and support to APAC-based teams. • Staying up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments that may impact commercial risk exposure in the region. • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization to ensure effective communication and collaboration. • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes as needed. • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and related activities. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., finance, accounting, business administration). • At least 5 years of experience in commercial risk management or a related field. • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
