Job description
An established and growth-focused insurance brokerage is looking to bring on an experienced Senior Commercial Broker to manage and grow a quality commercial portfolio. You will take ownership of a diverse book across SME / mid-market commercial risks.

Key responsibilities:

- Build and maintain strong insurer and client relationships
- Support and mentor junior brokers and support staff
- Identify cross sell and upsell opportunities within the portfolio
You will be an experienced commercial broker who is confident handling end to end broking responsibilities and complex risks. Strong communication skills and a client first mindset are essential.
- Proven experience as a Commercial or Senior Commercial Broker
- Solid knowledge of New Zealand insurance markets and policy wordings
- Level 5 qualification or working towards it
- Strong relationship management and negotiation skills
- Comfortable working autonomously while contributing to a team environment
