Senior Commercial Broker – Auckland Central
Our client, a well-established national brokerage, is seeking an experienced Senior Broker to manage and grow an established portfolio of commercial clients across a range of industries.

About the Role:
This nationally recognised brokerage is looking for a Senior Commercial Broker to step into a key role within a collaborative, high-performing team. You’ll be responsible for managing a well-established book of business, delivering tailored risk solutions, and building long-term client partnerships with the drive to go and get new business. Day to day, you’ll lead policy renewals, negotiate with insurers, handle complex placements, and drive growth across your portfolio.

You’ll be expected to:

• Manage and retain a portfolio of mid-market and more complex commercial clients across diverse sectors
  
  
• Lead policy renewals and proactively handle pre-renewal discussions
  
  
• Negotiate with insurers to secure competitive terms and cover
  
  
• Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and win new business
  
  
• Provide strategic risk advice tailored to each client’s needs
  
  
• Oversee endorsements, policy adjustments, and debtor management
  
  

What You’ll Bring:

• 5+ years of experience managing a commercial insurance portfolio
  
  
• Strong knowledge of the New Zealand commercial insurance market
  
  
• Proven relationship management and risk advisory skills
  
  
• Confidence in handling complex risks and placements
  
  
• Relevant industry qualifications such as ANZIIF or NZCFS Level 5 certification
