Job Title: Senior Combat Systems Engineer Salary: Up to £49,000 dependent on skills and experience Location: Scotstoun – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role What you’ll be doing: Assisting the Technical Lead with producing and developing complex designs, and compartment layouts, in line with specifications, quality and technical standards, and customer requirements. Whilst performing detail design work, you will be expected to demonstrate a high level of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all designs are compliant with relevant regulations and standards. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in the defence or aerospace industry, or those looking to transition into this sector. What we’re looking for: A degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., mechanical, electrical, software) and/or equivalent experience. You will have a strong understanding of technical design principles, as well as experience with computer-aided design (CAD) tools such as CATIA or SolidWorks. In addition to your technical skills, you should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
