Senior Cloud Test & DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

We are currently looking for a Senior Cloud Test & DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) for one of our clients.

• Project location: Remote, twice per quarter in Berlin

• Duration: October 12, 2026 to December 31, 2026, extension possible

• Work mix: 90% Remote (only possible within Germany)

• Important: Willingness for SÜ2 according to § 9 SÜG Confidential/Sabotage Protection

YOUR MISSION

The project involves securing a cloud-native platform through integrative system and end-to-end tests, continuously developing it further, and demonstrably showcasing its functions and use cases to internal and external stakeholders.

The tasks in detail:

• Conception, setup, and execution of integrative system and end-to-end tests to ensure the integrity and functionality of upcoming releases

• Development of test strategies, test scenarios, and test cases, as well as independent implementation in the platform environment

• Development and setup of relevant end-to-end use cases for demonstrating platform capabilities

• Establishment of continuous feedback loops with development and DevOps teams to improve the platform

• Development and communication of optimization suggestions for user-centric and operational documentation

• Conception, preparation, and execution of integrative system demos for internal and external stakeholders

• Taking over the mandate for the entire lifecycle – from conception and documentation to implementation and execution

• Prospective takeover of OPS components for a centrally to-be-established test management system

MUST-HAVES FOR THIS POSITION

• In-depth knowledge of SDLC principles, code versioning, and Git

• At least 3 years of practical experience in DevOps or DevSecOps

• At least 3 years of experience in setting up and using CI/CD pipelines

• At least 3 years of experience with Linux, automation, and scripting

• At least 2 years of experience with Kubernetes and containers

• At least 2 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps

• At least 2 years of experience in documenting user stories and features with Jira

• At least 2 years of experience in agile working with Scrum or Kanban

• In-depth Kubernetes and Private Cloud knowledge in complex environments

• Experience in test and release management

Nice to have:

• Experience with test automation

• Experience with integration tests in cloud-native environments

• Knowledge of agile scaling methods, e.g., SAFe

• Experience in setting up or operating test management systems
