Senior Cloud Engineer (m/f/d)

For a company in the trade and logistics sector in the North Germany region, we are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer (m/f/d) for permanent employment.

In this position, you will be responsible for the strategic further development and administration of the cloud infrastructure as well as the implementation of a global cloud strategy.

• Planning, realization, and administration of group-wide public cloud solutions (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS)
• Further development and optimization of the cloud strategy in coordination with business requirements
• Development and evaluation of operating concepts for IT systems in the Azure environment (functionality, security, migration paths, budget)
• Ensuring compliance with all security aspects, especially for the protection of company data in the cloud
• Monitoring performance parameters and availability of cloud services as well as carrying out optimizations
• Advising IT colleagues on usage scenarios and supporting them with troubleshooting
• Documentation of cloud-based operating processes and creation of regular reports

• Completed university degree with a focus on computer science or comparable qualification with several years of professional experience in cloud infrastructures
• At least 5 years of experience working with cloud technologies (Azure, Entra ID, Intune, PaaS, IaaS, SaaS)
• Experience in migrating on-premises to cloud solutions as well as knowledge of enterprise technologies
• Demonstrable implementation of projects in large corporate structures
• Confident communication in German and English (written and spoken)
• Independent, solution-oriented way of working, as well as resilience and flexibility
