Shape the cloud platform of an internationally operating company

Our client is an internationally structured corporate group with several locations worldwide and a modern IT landscape. The digitalization of business processes, the introduction of innovative technologies, and the expansion of cloud-based platforms are among the central strategic initiatives for the coming years.

For the further expansion of the cloud architecture, we are looking for an experienced personality who combines technical excellence with strategic thinking and will significantly shape the future cloud landscape.

• You continuously develop the cloud architecture and cloud governance of an internationally used Azure platform.
• You are responsible for the conception, introduction, and optimization of modern cloud services as well as cloud-native solutions in the SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS environments.
• You evaluate new technologies, architectural patterns, and services regarding scalability, security, cost-effectiveness, and future viability.
• You drive cloud migration and transformation projects from strategic planning to successful implementation.
• You establish best practices for security, compliance, identity management, and the protection of business-critical data in the cloud.
• You support various business and IT departments as a technical sparring partner in architectural decisions and complex issues.
• You develop standards, operating concepts, and automation approaches for reliable and efficient cloud operations.
• You analyze performance, costs, and usage patterns and derive targeted optimization measures.

• Several years of experience in building, designing, or operating modern cloud platforms, ideally in the Microsoft Azure environment.
• Good knowledge in the areas of cloud architecture, infrastructure, security, and governance.
• Experience with cloud migrations, hybrid cloud scenarios, or transformation projects is an advantage.
• Understanding of automation, Infrastructure as Code, and modern operating models.
• Ability to present technical concepts comprehensibly to different target audiences.
• Structured, solution-oriented, and independent work style.
• Very good German and English language skills.
• Desire to shape new technologies and actively influence the technological course of a company.
