Senior Client Project Manager for Luxury & Premium Packaging Solutions (m/f/d)

We are a leading manufacturer of exclusive and individual packaging solutions for the branded goods industry in the high-quality consumer and luxury goods sector. For decades, we have been delighting our discerning customers with creativity, sophisticated techniques, and the highest quality. In our own plants, exquisite and innovative packaging in the form of cardboard boxes and shopping bags are developed and produced for our national and international customers. Tasks

Project and Product Development

• You will independently manage demanding packaging development projects from the design idea to series production.

• You will translate creative customer briefings into technically feasible and economically convincing packaging solutions.

• You will coordinate samples, mock-ups, and prototypes, ensuring adherence to deadlines, quality, and cost targets.

• You will manage relevant interfaces and work closely with development, purchasing, production, and logistics throughout the entire project process.

Customer Service and Consulting

• You will be the central point of contact for defined customers and manage the project-relevant collaboration between customers, agencies, and internal specialist departments.

• You will prepare and conduct customer meetings independently and provide competent advice on materials, constructions, sustainability, and technical feasibility.

• You will develop alternative solutions and optimization suggestions and support their implementation until final approval.

Business Development and Profitability

• You will support offers and project calculations, keeping an eye on margins, costs, and profitability.

• You will identify cross-selling and upselling potentials and develop existing customers together with Sales and Key Account Management.

• You will actively contribute your project and customer knowledge to price negotiations and economic decisions.

Qualifications

• Commercial apprenticeship with relevant professional experience or a completed business administration degree.

• Several years of sound experience in project management, ideally in a manufacturing or technically oriented company.

• Experience in independently managing complex projects as well as in professional customer management.

• Strong commercial and technical understanding, as well as a structured and solution-oriented approach to work.

• Negotiation skills, decision-making ability, and a confident demeanor towards customers, agencies, and internal interfaces.

• High communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to set priorities and drive projects forward consistently.

• Proficient in MS Office and experience with inventory management or ERP systems.

• Very good German and English skills; French or other foreign languages are an advantage.
