Senior Civil Engineer - Geotechnics

Validate and technically support internal studies and projects on geotechnics;

• Evaluate and follow up on projects developed by subcontractors, ensuring quality and technical compliance;

• Orient the geotechnics team on methods, guidelines, and best practices for geotechnical analysis and design;

• Participate in technical meetings and follow-ups with multidisciplinary teams and clients;

• Conduct and validate risk analyses associated with adopted geotechnical solutions;

• Support strategic decision-making for contracts, projects, and discipline management;

• Evaluate partner companies and their portfolios for possible subcontracting opportunities;

• Aid in planning and organizing geotechnical investigations, as well as interpreting results;

• Aid in developing and validating geotechnical models used in analyses and simulations;

• Participate in initial project surveys, identifying demands and scope of geotechnics' involvement;

• Perform or review studies and analyses on:

  • Talude stability;

  • Earthworks over soft soils;

  • Fundations and containment structures;

  • Alternative technical solution studies;

• Aid in organizing the discipline for project management and technical follow-up;

• Develop and review technical reports, specifications, drawings, and other documents related to geotechnics.
