Senior Civil Engineer (Consultancy)

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the design, planning, and delivery of civil engineering projects, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with standards
• Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and construction documentation
• Manage project teams, coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and feasibility assessments
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client meetings

Qualifications & experience needed:

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Chartered Engineer status (IEng) or working towards preferred
• Proven background in civil engineering design and project management including combining drainage, external works and highways elements
• Strong technical knowledge in infrastructure design, geotechnical, drainage, transportation, or related disciplines
• Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or similar tools
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
